Inspired by Forugh Farrokhzad’s titular poem, I feel sorry for the garden examines the beauty and decay of natural spaces, both manicured and unruly. By using hand-processed 16mm film and text, the film attempts to conjure the ephemeral qualities of their fleeting inhabitants.
